the constant gardener(s)

What a difference a few weeks make.  The women (and it is the women - the men seem content to watch.  Or offer advice .....) have not only tidied up the builders' mess, but decorated it as well.

The wooden pallets have been transformed into fencing, two rusty and abandoned wheel barrows have become planters (they came complete with drainage holes ....) and dried poppy heads have been painted and planted in drain pipes.

The next stage will be to prepare the soil for another area for planting veggies.  There's a stable yard in the next street.  May have to borrow a wheel barrow .
