Tripping The Light Fantastic

The forecast showed the only possibility of some light would be around 6pm, otherwise dull, overcast skies. Although I'm not averse to cloudy conditions, I waited until the appointed hour, even though it did not look promising. And I wasn't disappointed.

A little window of light opened just above the trees and I managed a few sun stars, but then as the sun dipped behind the trees, the sky lit up with an orange glow.
