Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

We are a grandmother!

Well, you already knew that, but in this case my angel fish have laid eggs. This is the fourth generation of them and they always lay on the front of the filter, very strange. Sadly the eggs don't hatch out as the angel fish also seem to be cannibals! Still it's exciting to see the eggs and the environment is obviously OK too.
Ali and I popped up to Little France this afternoon for a check up and all is OK. Little Josie is doing really well. While we were there I saw two of the Clown Doctors who are based there. We used to work very closely with them at school and had regular courses of visits over a number of years. I had to work hard to get permission but many of our pupils responded really well to them. There's a link at the end if you don't know about them.
The new RHSC is beautiful, so airy and full of space, a very calm and relaxed atmosphere I'm sure anxious parents and children must feel safe there.
We popped into Cameron Toll briefly on the way back and had a hot chocolate and a bun each. Josie didn't bother with either, lol.
Back home we had time for a quick dinner then it was quiz night. For some reason I wasn't well tuned in to Only Connect tonight, but I romped through University Challenge, having a brain full of otherwise useless information can be handy at times! Poor Sussex, i did much better than they did.
Keep safe everyone, it feels like a bit of a lull just now, let's keep it that way.
