Steep learning curve!

OK, so far university seems to consist of going to quiz nights and Wetherspoons - with a bit of ten pin bowling thrown in for good measure?

We've set up a regular time on Sunday nights to FaceTime but we're also getting several texts every day, some just to say 'hello', others with various random questions, such as 'What buttons do I need to press on the washing machine?', 'Are double duvets square?' and 'Do apples need to go in the fridge?'. 

The best texts, though, are the ones where - with shocked indignation - she's telling us how much everything costs. She's definitely getting some good life lessons, even if there's not much academic work to do yet!
