Meet Champs, the brother/sister in laws dog. Like most labradors, a big soppy thing who just loves attention (but doesn't get much from me).

Went out for an Indian meal last night and as usual, the food was good and the staff friendly and attentive. Our local Indian, the Jay Raj is one of 3 within a couple of miles of home and is by far the best. They just have the balance right. Almost makes you feel sorry for the others, and one in particular which is usally empty to half full at best whilst the Jay Raj is bursting at the seams.

Luke set off on his journey home yesterday at 11:00 p.m. our time and should arrive here around 11:00 a.m Thursday morning - a journey of 36 hours! He wants to go out to lunch, wants home baked cakes for tea (carrot cake lemon drizzle cake, fairy cakes etc.) and then bangers and mash for dinner. We will of course comply, but I suspect he will be asleep before he gets past his first fairy cake.
