Up and Over

There were twelve of us in the walking group today.  It was windy, cold and dull when we met at the lakefront and the forecast was miserable.  Regardless, we drove to Glendhu Bay and walked to Damper Bay.  It looked threatening the whole time but didn’t rain at all until we were almost back at the cars when a few spots fell.   The flowering bushes in the extra were everywhere. The computer tells me they are Corokia Cotoneaster.  Another thoroughly enjoyable Monday.
