Lady Emily's Tower

We went out for an early morning doggy walk at the beach in Abegele, it was lovely and peaceful with not many people around.  Gwrych Castle overlooks the beach and my blip is of Lady Emily's Tower which is part of the castle estate.  It was designed by Lord Hesketh for his wife Lady Emily and their children in the mid nineteenth century. 

The rest of the day was spent preparing for our new Karndean floors which are due to be fitted this week - we had to remove the fridge, dishwasher and washing machine so that the floors can be screeded.  I then did the packing as we're going away for a few days and will leave the fitters to it.
