Racing For Life

Tess & Kate (& two of Kate’s friends) took part in the Race For Life, the annual event to raise money for Cancer Research, in Taunton this morning. Here they are triumphantly approaching the finish line. I daren’t post the one taken a second or so later just after they crossed the line where their expressions of exhaustion were less photogenic!

We hadn’t realised that men and children could participate now  - the last time they did it, admittedly 12 years ago, it was an all female event - or Joel, Sophie & I would have given it a go. 

After a bit of recuperation, we went out for a 4 mile walk this afternoon so Tess could loosen up. Not sure how loose she’ll be feeling later!
