Vanguard

I was 10 mins early to our starting point, NBN box #1 at 50 King Street, so hung out in the laneway next to music venue Vanguard. I’m not sure what the mural represents…

We found and photographed 18 of the 22 local Indigenous artwork-wrapped NBN boxes. There were the usual missed opportunities - a yellow dress next to a yellow box, bright red hair passing a red dot painting - and parked cars, but also pleasing harmonies.

Box #12 (extra) is Edith Imantura Richard’s Minyma Tjuta (Women’s Story).
