Strawberry Cream Pie

Yesterday an elderly lady from the church sent her husband over here with a pie she had made for me. It was strawberry cream pie.

I had never tasted a strawberry cream pie, and I am the lesser for it. This pie is amazing. Now I am a lover of cream pies, banana, coconut, etc. but this one takes first place. Strawberry. I won’t quickly forget it.

It means all the more to me because she has arthritis and find it difficult to stand for any amount of time. But she took the time to make me the pie. It’s probably more full of love than it is of strawberries.

If love could be contained in a pie, this would be it.
