Break in
Well, I went to my office today, and as I entered the church I noticed that my office door was open. That’s not good.
Then I walked in and noticed my office was in disarray, cupboards were open and strewn about, drawers were open and gone through. My brain had trouble resolving what I saw, but the truth is that we were broken into.
Computers were stolen, televisions were stolen, guitar amplifiers were stolen, microphones were stolen, and we discovered later that a vacuum was stolen.
The RCMP Came, reports were made out, evidence was gathered, and we felt violated.
He was a helpful officer and I appreciated that from him. But there is this lingering sense of violation.
I’m not sure how long it’ll take to get back to normal, we will see. But that was the news from here today.
