Busy night

It was a damp foggy morning and it was immediately apparent that the spiders had had a busy night. I counted thirteen large webs on this frame, all decorated with dew. I wonder how many spiders were involved in this marathon or was it just one? I have put a closeup in extra.
Later in the day the sun came out and I went for a walk. I had to post a letter for N so that took me up to the main road. I walked for a bit, but there was a lot of traffic, and although this is supposed to be a 30 mph zone, the cars seemed to be going very fast. So I didn’t stay out for very long, but came home and made myself a warming cup of tea.
