Outbuilding refurb...

Back still sore this morning so cancelled my lunch with friends Fiona and Janice.  Two lunches cancelled this week.  Ho hum.

Poor Alan's swimming session was also cancelled as there is a continuing problem with a small pipe that delivers chlorine to the pool.  They've had four attempts at fixing it.  Starting to lose patience a bit now as there seems to be a problem of one kind or another in the plant room every other week!  

The guys arrived on Monday to start the refurb of the outbuilding.  This is long overdue and much needed as I'm not sure the roof would have lasted another winter.  A new roof, internal wall lining and painted floor will make it a much more practical place to store some of Alan's equipment that he only uses occasionally (such as the manual hoist and manual wheelchair) This will free up some much needed cupboard space in the house.  

David's been bothered by toothache for the last couple of days so managed to get an emergency appointment with his dentist in St Andrews for 6.30 this evening.  Normally I would have gone along for the run (always lovely to see St Andrews) and the photo opportunities but I couldn't have sat so long in the car.  My back pain feels like sciatic pain but it doesn't travel down my leg.

Tesco delivery done and it was off to bed.
