Closing

Drove to the summer house to close for the winter season. A bit earlier than we use to do. Last year we still had our morning baths there at this day. The reason today was I yesterday got message from the hospital to meet there next Thursday the 14th to be operated on Friday 15th. A surprise to me who had expected to meet there in December. That means a hospital stay for a week or so and a convalescence period hopefully not more than a month thereafter. That means again it may be freezing temperatures at the summerhouse before I may go there again.  Good to know the water pipes are emptied, the freezer thawed and the groceries brought to the freezer in Oslo.  We also managed a short walk at the peninsula. Good to see my trimmed tree is strong enough to meet the  heavy winds. Hopefully it will stay there next spring.  It has been stormy autumn winds there and seaweed and kelp had been washed far up on the beach (Extra). An active day. I feel for an early bed right now so see you tomorrow.
