Morning Sky

I had an early (ish) walk this morning and was greeted with a rather fabulous sky…fantastic textured clouds and a huge spread of crepuscular rays…  I also spotted a little sapling doing its best to get ready for autumn (extra 1).

We had a trip to Tadcaster later - Mrs madwill dropped me at the medical centre there for me to have a retinal scan - a ‘regular’ checkup in case of problems with diabetes. Afterwards we went to Costa coffee in the town (first time since lockdown #1) and then to the supermarket for a few bits.

I had another walk after lunch and along one of the lanes I almost stood on a rather startling creature (extra 2) which I think is a ‘Pale Tussock Moth' caterpillar.

4.5 ‘boots on’ miles walked in total - out of a step count of 13.5K - which is just over 6 miles…so 1.5 miles just was done just wandering in town/supermarket and pottering around at home.
