Sky Whale

Much of the day was spent framing cyanotype prints and some in-camera photographs ready for a small exhibition at Maxey next week. Hopefully it will show what I've been working on as Langdyke joint Artist-in-residence, even though I've had very little time to devote to this project since May!

A late afternoon walk at Ferry Meadows was a  good chance to stretch my legs and catch up with the area, which I tend not to visit in summer as it gets very crowded. This wonderful orange cloud was hanging over the meadows like a giant beast - after some debate over whether it was more shark- or whale-like, Pete and I plumped for a Sky Whale!
