Red roses

My hostas are planted, the ground gently patted down to a flat plane. 

The guys seemed confused and looked at the wall, specifically at the empty space in front of the wall. I told them I have a very smart friend. I don't know the word for creative in Spanish. 

The crows have not entirely left although only two and now only one come by, and not every day. Hopefully they will return now that construction is done. Does anyone else give them Cheetos?
