A Day in Hoy

A tremendous day in Hoy.  Glorious indeed.  Chatted with Kitty and John in King's House garden.  John's a poor thing, he had a stroke a while ago but he's spirited enough to garden.  Ricky has set a lifetime pb and painted the skews of Orgil Cottage bright blue.  We sneaked into the grounds of the Manse for an investigation.   Investigation over we visited the Hoy Archive in the Kirk. CMC reads extracts from the school diary she wrote in 1963.

Reginald and Desdemona took their car across on the other ferry so they can explore the south end of the island.  We'll all come back together on the same channel for teatime.  Was it Colin Watson who introduced Miss Teatime?
