The Blind Beggar

This morning we had breakfast with our companions and then had to say goodbye as we needed to get home quickly to prepare the  birthday dinner for early evening.  En route to the tube station we walked via the various buildings of the Royal London Hospital, which is still undergoing major renovations.  Whitechapel is known to many because of the infamous Jack the Ripper, who's dreadful crimes have become  known as the Whitechapel Murders.  In more recent times the pub which features as my blip today, The Blind Beggar,  became notorious because of its association with the Kray brothers.  Do follow my links if you'd like to know more.
Once home we prepared a roast dinner followed by a (home made) apple crumble at the request of the birthday girl.  See extras for a quick phone shot of her and Violet.
