On This Day In History
1957: Sputnik launched

Quote Of The Day
"The first man-made satellite to orbit the Earth was named Sputnik. The first living creature in space was Laika. The first rocket to the Moon carried a red flag. The first photograph of the far side of the Moon was taken with a Soviet camera. If a man orbits the Earth this year, his name will be Ivan."
(John F. Kennedy)

Actually, his name was Yuri, but you were essentially correct, Mr. President.

Speaking of Yuri Gagarin, how about a flexi disc whose contents are a discussion about what the contents of the flexi disc will be. And people say Phil is a misery guts. No. Deadpan, I say.

It's not simple. It's not even complex. It's multiplex.

I think the flexi disc was supposed to contain this track, in case you are interested.
