New neighbor

When we got up today, this newcomer was eating under the birdfeeder. Looks like a male pheasant who has had some rough encounter, seemingly missing feathers and even the customary long tail. I'm no expert though; it was a nice surprise to see him. There is another shot of him in the extra.
