Off the path

Started the day with a hike along Deschutes River. Micah here scrambling on the rocks; the river is over to the right not visible.
We stopped at an alpaca farm, Savanna the animal lover wanted to feed them, then at Smith Rock to watch the climbers for a bit. The place was packed! Nice dinner with our hosts, then homeward. We’ve had a wonderful week; saw such varied countryside and enjoyed each other’s company.
