Bad hair day

Another deceptively freezing day weatherwise, blue sky and sun and a promise of +4 but then a cutting Siberian wind wrecking everything. Spring will come eventually I guess, or maybe we'll hop straight to summer...

Took both children to get their hair cut today, Jas had decided to lop a drastic 2 inches off...I could have prophesied the tears but one always lives in hope.

She was brave in the hairdressers, dissolving into sobs when we got home and almost wrecking my blip plans. Fortunately once we'd washed out the bouffey blow dry effect she was happier, not ecstatic (she's almost a teen, it'll be a long time before we see that mood again, unless of course I give her unlimited credit card access to Abercrombie $ Fitch or Hollister) but at least smiling and playful and willing to co-operate.
