Female Blackbird

This morning Oliver had an early appointment at Addenbrokes. His mum took him in as she works there and I collected him and took him back to school. The physiotherapist was very pleased with his progress and said that he is clearly doing his exercises. He is allowed to take his sling and hinged cast off when he is on holiday over Easter to do some swimming as this will be beneficial as long as he does not do too much or get it knocked.

Continuing the bird theme this female Blackbird was balancing on a small branch and reaching up to feed from the fat balls. As always this was taken through the kitchen window, so perhaps not as clear as I would have liked.

The sun came out today; blink and you would have missed it, generally cold and dull again for most of today.
