Hoodiewinked
Trying on some potential new clothes today, Matty got trapped in a hoodie.
Trying to wrestle her way free, she somehow ended up half naked and crashing into the clothes rail. Never before have a group of shoppers laughed so hard in Morrisons. M’boy and I were quite literally doubled over, but before you start thinking what terrible chaps we are, I should add at this point that she was laughing at her own ineptitude too.
I felt that she’d earned the new garment.
Speaking of which, for shame on designers/manufacturers of clothing for little girls with a sense of adventure. We looked in three different shops for something for her and the selection was shocking. She ended up picking a boy’s top, which I am proud of her for. Don’t get me wrong, she does have her “girly” moments here and there, but why does she have to be limited to sparkly, glittery clothing only? I guess it should go the other way too and that it would be nice if some boy’s clothes had a little sparkle and shine to them too?
Anyway, the weather has meant a rather subdued day featuring cake, some Mario Kart and a dive into the crafting box. It’s Saturday night, so we had our regular chippy tea before settling down with some Strictly.
