Lake Hayes

We had a day in Queenstown today.  We stopped at Lake Hayes on the way - a dull day but the lake was looking quite calm.  Later we walked round the gardens in Queenstown where we noticed this huge, white rhododendron with enormous flowers (two extras).  On the way home we stopped at the shopping centre just outside town where we bumped into … Acyclinggranny!  We knew she was going over that way today but no arrangements had been made.
Tomorrow’s walk: weather permitting we plan to walk the Upper Clutha River Track from Albert Town.  There is enough parking there for people to take their own cars.
