Broken Dreams

This is the old video store that went broke about a year or more ago (no one hires videos anymore) and the shop has been empty since then. It's been the target of vandals in minor ways and now they've smashed the window.

Antisocial behaviour seems to be escalating in the shopping precinct. Late night trading is Thursday nights and the size of the gangs of kids that roam the main drag from about 6pm onwards is astounding!

They mostly just yell and scream and chase one another but now and again there will be violence and things happen like the smashing of windows! The police are always around and sometimes the police helicopter hovers overhead.

Living in the business area has its good points but it is starting to have its bad points too.

We ended up having a lot of rain and things have gotten decidedly cooler, in fact it's freezing (13c) and I've had to rug up, it's wonderful :)))
