And finally it rained!

We walked a familiar 3.5 mile circuit around the village with a climb to a good view point. The Cotswold limestone soil was visibly gulping the much needed rain after an unusually dry September. All the streams that run off the escarpment were flowing happily again as my Blip clearly shows.

This morning we made promising progress with the tradespeople who we hope will paint, decorate, electrify and carpet our new home before our belongings trundle south to join us in a month.
