Baking as it's raining!

Wet! Windy

Woke up just as the rain was starting, rang my friend, had breakfast and then set about baking.  First I made the lemon and lime curd, not tried this before.  Then the lemon and blueberry traybake, an old favourite.  Next I made the pastry for the tart and while it was in the fridge resting I made the little biscuits, yummy.  Finished the tart, cooked that and prepared vegetables for this evenings meal. Had a shower, washed my hair then K. came round and we enjoyed a roast chicken dinner and the apple tart with custard.  It was nice to sit down!
Hope the weather will be better tomorrow.  Will make some cheese scones in the morning to go with the cake, etc as my friends are coming here for tea.
