Flowers looking beautiful after the rain

A wet start to the day but soon cleared to sun and cloud.

Spoke to various friends this morning and did some jobs indoors, K came round for a coffee and chat.  This afternoon the gas man was supposed to come, waited in all afternoon and no show or text!  This wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been to the shop and bought some items I needed for cooking!  I spent most of the afternoon being lazy, making more phone calls and spending a little time in the garden.
Glad I managed to take these shots first thing after the rain, the roses are still looking beautiful.
