Sunrise

Husband is doing well, he had the first appointment of the day so we were out of the house by 5:30 am.  I was not allowed in the hospital, so after dropped husband off I went to photograph a sunrise.  Last night I set out the tripod, camera, lens,  I checked the camera battery and camera settings.  The first place I went didn't feel safe so I found another spot and set up the tripod went to slide the camera on and...well I didn't move the tripod plate onto this camera (an additional plate has been ordered).  The sunrise didn't really materialize it just became  lighter and grey.  I hand held leaning agains the tripod.  Will try again.  Husband was home by mid morning.
