Husband and I packed a picnic lunch and drove to hurricane ridge today.  It was foggy and smokey as we drove up the mountains but we came out on top of it.  This is one of my favorite places to hike, I feel like I'm walking on  top of the world.  It was posted that bear have been spotted in the area, but we did not see any bear.  The only wildlife we saw were three grouse, I will put a photo of the grouse in the Extra Photos and one of the hiking trail.  In the photo of the hiking trail the rock point way in the distance in the destination.
