Canal walk

Today we walked out from Newfield Hall, Airton, to the village of  Gargrave where we had lunch by the canal before visiting the charming church. There were displays inside representing various  groups  which meet in the church, and a young lady called Freya was especially  welcoming and  excited to see visitors from afar! We continued on our way, along the Leeds and Liverpool canal again, before heading over the hills along the Pennine Way back to Airton (extra). It was another  fine day.
