In The Pink

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Another fun day in the office today. It was just me and Corrie and she's great company. We had a fairly busy morning and then decided to go to The Crab Shack for lunch.

It's such a pleasure to me to be able to spend time with such a smart, funny, driven young woman. She's so enthusiastic and full of energy despite facing some massive problems this year. I'm full of admiration for her. Our backgrounds and ages are so different but we had a great time together. I think Corrie could get along with anybody.

(See extra for the obligatory selfie).

I was going to spend the afternoon working in the office, but as soon as we got back I received a message that Caro was waiting for me downstairs. She had finished her hair appointment early and wondered if I wanted to go home with her.

Wellllll.... I mean... It's FRIDAY. Sure, why not knock off early? I mean, I was planning to work this weekend anyway. What the heck.

So I went to collect her and found this lovely, amazing, PINK-HAIRED lady waiting for me!

I do not know what it is about the new "Strawberry Shortcake" hair. I just love it and haven't been able to stop looking at Caro ever since I met up with her. She curled up next to me on the train and fell asleep with my arm around her, and I felt my heart go "pop".

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm very happy and I can't hold it in.

Mind you, I was not the only one taken with her. A random lady also called out, "Love your hair!" to Caro as we walked home from the station.

When I got home, it was to some VERY funny WhatsApp messages from Ellie. She is an ex-YouTuber and so the video messages she sends me (and now Caro) are effing hilarious. Shenée got in on the WhatsApp action and sent me a picture of herself in her Xmas t-rex jumper (see extra extra).

It's weird. It was just the two of us today, but it feels like the whole team is around me.

S.
