Homeward Bound

It was back to reality today. 

Autumn arrived with a wet, cool morning so I found things to do in my hotel until checkout time. 

My route towards the bus stop takes me past Mum's in Forrest Road, and I decided their comfort food would be an ideal lunch on a day like today. I was right. Sausage and mash, and it was excellent. 

The service was good too, and friendly.

Then I continued my meandering to the bus, followed by a quick dash over the water to the park & ride. 

Home again. Oh well. At least I had the satisfaction of making a delicious dinner from what I found lying about at the bottom of the fridge. More bloody pomegranate...
