Butt of Lewis

The forecast for today was good however got rained on 3 times … on the positive side, some glorious rainbows! 

An 8 mile walk round the Butt of Lewis - the most northerly point on the Outer Hebrides - visiting the lighthouse and watching seabirds from the cliffs, dramatic Atlantic scenery. 

On the way home, avoiding lots of sheep on the road, stopped at Borve House Hotel for a delicious dinner.
