So happy to be back in Liverpool if only briefly. Lou needed to collect her fast track passport, then she was well enough for lunch and she also managed a quick whip round the Lucian Freud exhibition at the Tate ! What a day.

Her consultant is now saying that it may not be wise for her to go to Turkey  yet. He wants to monitor her over the  next 2 weeks before deciding. This challenge appears to have given her renewed vigour....long may it last.
