In the Forest

I was on the look-out today for Fungi, but there were not many to be found. This was perhaps the best of the day. Buried in the grass, it's surface  is illuminated by the sunlight filtering thriugh the canopy of the oak trees. The shape attracted me as it looked a bit like an animal curled up and asleep in the grass. 
The extra shows the River Meavy, also today, lower down in the valley and looking nice in the Autumn sunshine.
