Jays on the Racecourse

This morning the sun was shining so after having to pop to Oswestry I went for a walk on the Old Racecourse.

I was pleased to see this pair of jays gathering acorns from the ground.  Unfortunately it's not a good photo of them but I was pleased to get just a record shot as they're birds that usually evade my camera. It's typical thet there was a wooden post right in front of them too!
