It’s our son’s birthday today.

Our son is 37 years old today.
Our d-I-l decorated the back lounge last night and set out the presents and cards.
A kind of birthday in transit this year!
Oddly enough we had them all staying with us at various intervals during January, February through to March, to help support them when schools were closed.
That meant we had our eldest granddaughter’s birthday, mine and Stephen’s and then our youngest grandson’s all here.
The household is now noisily awake, so time to go and have our birthday breakfast. A tradition in their house.

Toast
Ground coffee.

Matthew, (who would’ve been 45 this year) is remembered with love and missed on these special days. He and Alan were close.
