A lovely welcome to our friends’ home.

Very late blip.
What I did not relate yesterday was that although it was our son’s birthday, I wasn’t feeling well at all.
After a long process involving a triage consult (on-line) with a duty doctor at our Group practice, I had to book an appointment at the Doctors Deputising Clinic a 20 minute drive from here.
Stephen took me.
My asthma had flared up and it transpires I now have a chest infection.
So more antibiotics and a course of steroid tablets to boost my system.
I have actually at this point lost my voice! But not in print, thankfully!
My youngest grandson asked me as we were eventually ready to leave our house to come here, (a 10 min drive),
“Will you have got your voice back when you come back?”
To which I whispered a reply.
“I can hear that granny.” he said.
I then told him that if he ever lost his voice, a cow would jump over the moon!
His older brother found that really funny. His younger one is still puzzled!
They really didn’t want us to leave.
But I need to rest to recuperate.
And what a beautiful home to help it along for the next week.
In the meantime the lovely Blipper Rainette and her husband Geoff have now arrived to stay with their family in Ibiza. She placed the vase of sunflowers specially and a gift of delicious French biscuits.
We are truly blessed.
