Homeward bound
The wind got up in the night - so I was up early too. Then an awful short drive to st Malo ferry port in the half light dawn rush hour with double windscreen wiper speed rain lashing. After that a relatively benign crossing - though we were not allowed up on the sun deck. And three hours drive home in the dark past the surreal sight of all the closed petroleum stations and one with its queue spilling out dangerously onto the A3(M). Glad I refueled in France. I had a cabin upgrade out of the change of boat so Walt enjoying his porthole view. Extras arriving into Portsmouth- I love the spinnaker tower and the azure sky against the Brittany Ferries logo.
