Tuesday: Bathtime

Today has been a positive social whirlwind.  But first things first.  I started the day with an early call with my mentee who is in Islamabad.  She was very pleased as she has just secured a new position in Montserrat.

I then had not one, but two, social engagements.  Lunch with my US & French colleagues, followed by a reception in the evening, also at my US colleague’s house.  It was great to see people I hadn’t seen for a while in a relatively normal setting.

J&S are out tonight, meeting up with an old university friend of J’s, so I treated myself to a nice long bath.

I’ve been constantly backblipping these last few weeks but will try and do better, now that I’m caught up.
