The Challenge

I was up and out at the crack of dawn this morning to get the monsters off to school while Bags and the S-I-L both headed off to their respective workplaces.
When they headed off to school and I headed home it was lovely so I had a look for something to photograph in the garden. There was a spider web that I thought might work - but it wasn't showing up very well so I had to go and give it a spray.  It looked a bit like a firework side on. I can't remember what kind of flower this is, but it got the spray treatment.
I can remember what this is and that this one is Borage.

I found some bits of wood yesterday yesterday that have been tucked away in a trunk for years, so I dragged a couple out and made a small dish and a narrow necked pot (not photographed yet).

This afternoon the monsters came to us for a while and then we took them home where SWMBO and The Cygnet had a games of chess. I tried to get a couple of different looks but the lens didn't quite open up as wide as I would have liked. Front and Back.
