An aloof cat

This is M holding one of her cats.  She was hosting the lunch today.  Got a lift with a friend and we passed several queues for petrol on the way.

Have now got some lights on timers coming on and this makes me realise that Autumn is well and truly here.  I use them normally because of going out to cinema etc in the evenings, but that is not happening this year.

Grandson No2 is 30 tomorrow.  Only seems five minutes since I used to pick him up from school and he would bombard me with questions like  "Do worms have ears Nanny?"  He is now a mechanical engineer and has different things he needs to know!

For those who are interested worms do not have ears but sense vibrations in the soil
