No way, not again!

I was actually quite upset when I looked out the window this morning and saw the thick layer of snow as I had a 20 mile run to do. This snow is now severely hampering my dreams of a PB. However, I got kitted up and set out and actually had a really good run and enjoyed the winter wonderland in the forest (it would have been lovely to have taken my camera, but there was no way I was going to carry that on my run).

We said goodbye to our friends and then it was party time for Olivia - a Princess and Pirate party this time - but Olivia has recently decided that she doesn't like princesses anymore and was clearly horrified at my suggestion that she went as a pirate, so she went as Tinkerbell. Because she's five and there are no rules when it comes to dressing up in her head. She had a wonderful time and then after the party we were invited to our Polish neighbour's house which was fun for the kids as their kids are the same age as ours, except they don't speak any English so they communicated by doing hysterical (in their mind) tripping over routines and rolling around the floor. Brilliant!

A nice but tiring day in the end.
