Courthouse at night

I saw this scene a few nights ago but didn't have my tripod. Now I came prepared. It's not too interesting.

What was interesting was as I was taking photos, a car pulled onto the street and parked just to my left and kept its lights on for a few minutes. I thought it was a sheriff's deputy keeping an eye on me because people love to think photographers are suspicious. Eventually they turned off their lights. I got my photos and left. I don't know what that was about.
