Tiny culprit

M and I were wondering recently why the leaves of the bleeding heart vine were gradually disappearing. Then this morning while I was on the hunt for a small living thing I found this spiky grub, about 1.5cm long, chomping away at the last leaf. My small critter ID app said it's something that turns into a tiger moth.

M went out and squashed it. While I also don't like these things defoliating our plants, once I've photographed them I become attached. Oh well.
