A good laugh!

Yesterday my old college friend D and his wife J came to visit.  This week they're renting a holiday cottage near where I live so came to see me for the day.

We went for a meal at a pub in the village then walked around the castle.  There were lots of old cars in the car park as their owners were having a road trip so they were something different to see.  F and D enjoyed looking at the mechanics of them - so different to modern ones.  I've put a photo of the three of us in front of some of them - I'm the short one!

After a cup of tea at my house we went into Ellesmere where we walked to the canal wharf and along The Mere. This is where I took my blip - I loved this shot of D having a good laugh.

We then went to my house where we had a light meal after putting the world to rights.  We said that we and our other friends must make sure that we meet up more often now that restrictions have eased (we all live in different parts of the country which makes things a little more difficult).
