The rematch

We returned to Tedburn St Mary for the rematch. It was an 11-0 win for Cully and Leo was pleased to get an assist as well as a clean sheet.  It wasn’t much fun for the opposition though, they looked so dejected at the end.  Playing the same team on Sat/Sun was a very bad idea - no time for licking sporting wounds!

We watched from a very civilised elevated point by the clubhouse with the luxury of a kitchen bench to sit on.  That beats standing for an age on the touchline.  We were able to play on the main pitch which was must better than the bobbly one of yesterday.

I have sore hands again after ringing this morning and taking a bit more skin off. I can’t wait until the calluses return! I think I will need to invest in some climber’s tape to protect them a bit.

And just like that the weekend has gone in a flash.  Hopefully it will be a quieter week at work and nothing else breaks!

It is sounding rather wet and wild out so we may be in for a damp old day tomorrow.
